Another special chartered flight for US citizens and their families to return to US has been arranged to depart on Sunday from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
The US Department of State and US Embassy in Dhaka confirmed this in a statement on Friday.
The special flight will land in Washington Dulles International Airport via Doha, while passengers will remain inside the plane in Doha.
In a message US Embassy said those who haven't provided their information yet, they can provide information through the US Embassy in Dhaka website.
In the event this flight is full and there is still a demand, they will make every effort to arrange additional flights in the upcoming days.
Group Capt AHM Towhid-Ul Ahsan, Director of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport told Dhaka tribune that a special chartered flight of Qatar Airways will depart on Sunday around 6:00pm.
According to the message, All passengers must agree to reimburse the US Government for the flight by signing a promissory note for approximately the amount of a full-fare economy flight, or comparable alternate transportation, to the designated destination which would have been charged immediately prior to this crisis.
This form must be signed and presented before boarding. No cash or credit card payments will be accepted at the airport. Passengers will be responsible for all arrangements or costs beyond Washington, DC.
Previously, a total of 269 US citizens along with seven dogs left Dhaka to return to their country on Monday.
