Three Bangladeshis with high temperatures have been sent to hospital upon their arrival at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
One of them returned from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the other two from Malaysia, on Saturday night. They were taken to the Kuwait Bangladesh Friendship Government Hospital.
Dr Shahriar Sajjad, one of the doctors at the health desk of the airport, confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune on Sunday.
The airport screening showed they had high temperatures and they were sent to the hospital for further checkups, he said.
The fast spreading Covid-19 has claimed more than 13,000 lives and infected over 300,000 globally, according to Worldometer.
In Bangladesh, 27 people have tested positive for coronavirus and there have been two recorded deaths from coronavirus infection so far.
