Another injured in the Mirpur gas cylinder blast has died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
Nehar, 8, son of Sarwar, died while undergoing treatment at the DMCH intensive care unit (ICU) on Wednesday night.
Confirming the matter on Thursday, DMCH police outpost in-charge Bachchu Miah said the body was sent to the DMC morgue for an autopsy.
On Wednesday afternoon, six children were killed and at least 20 injured after a balloon seller’s gas cylinder exploded in Mirpur, Dhaka.
Later at night, Nehar died at DMCH.

Another seven blast survivors including four children, are now undergoing treatment at DMCH.
They are -- balloon seller Abu Sayed, 25, broke his right hand fingers; Jannat, 25, her right hand got detached; Jewel, 25, admitted with a broken hand; Siam, 11, received 5% burn injuries on face; Joni, 10, his face and teeth got dislocated, Mostakim, 9, received 25% burn injuries, and Mizan, 6, whose intestines were out.
The DMCH casualty department's residency surgeon Mohammad Alauddin said: "These survivors are admitted in different ward under different departments."
Among them, Mizan's condition is critical, and he has been transferred to Intensive Care Unit (ICU)."
"Other survivors are not out of danger as well. We are providing them the best treatment, and can update about their condition after some time," Alauddin added.
