A man has been killed in a road accident in Dhaka.
The deceased has been identified as Safikuddin, 40 son of Chanaruddin Munshi from Tepur Gari village of Patgram upazila of Lalmonirhat district.
The incident occurred around 1pm on Friday.
Family member of the deceased, Abdul Mannan said, Safikuddin was crushed under a bus when he was crossing the road on his way to work.
He was sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
Uttara (West) police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Abdullah Ibne Sayeed said his body has been handed over to family members after autopsy.
