Twenty people have been sent to jail for their alleged involvement in various offenses, including mugging, and drug consumption and sales.
Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) conducted a drive in Dhaka’s Mugda-Manda area and detained 23 teenagers and youths in the early hours of Tuesday.
Confirming the matter to Dhaka Tribune, RAB 3 Company Commander and Additional Superintendent of Police Bina Rani Dash said: "We received many complaints from people about teen gangs.
“A few days ago, there was a fight between the two groups ‘Devil's King’ and ‘Chan-Jadu,’ which left several injured.
Following the matter, we conducted a raid in that area along with an executive magistrate and arrested them.
