Education Minister Dipu Moni said on Saturday that unrest in society is due to drugs, which is also responsible for heinous crimes.
She made the observation at a program organized by Inner Wheel District 328 at Dhaka Club in Ramna, reports UNB.
The minister said: "Children are not brought up with qualities like humanity, patriotism, and morality. We are only focusing on good grades, mathematics, English, or science.
"We are not paying attention to morality. Our education system must and will be changed," she added.
A new Inner Wheel committee took charge for the 2019-20 session with Naima Sakwat as the new chairman for District 328.
