A mobile court of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has sentenced 16 people to different jail terms for manufacturing poultry and fish feeds using tannery waste in Dhaka’s Demra.
The officials also fined them Tk32 lakh, RAB sources confirmed via text message on Saturday.
They also seized 6,000 tons of poisonous poultry and fish feeds during the drive.
Three factories were also sealed by the officials.
