Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said the trial of the BDR mutiny cases is almost complete.
He made the comment while speaking to reporters on Monday; after placing floral wreaths at the Banani military graveyard, marking the 10th anniversary of 2009 Pilkhana BDR carnage.
The home minister said: “The trial of the BDR mutiny cases is almost complete and those accused in those cases will face justice.”
From February 25-26, 2009, a group of relegated members of the-then Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) killed 74 people—including 57 army officers—at the Pilkhana headquarters of the paramilitary force.
