Dhaka Tribune on Saturday held a National Team Conference at a city hotel in Dhaka.
A total of 68 people, including district correspondents and advertising officials, from different districts attended the conference.
With his introductory speech, Dhaka Tribune publisher Dr Kazi Anis Ahmed shared different plans of the newspaper taken for the days ahead and expected cooperation from all correspondents to make those a success.
He also appreciated the role of the correspondents for providing continuous support to the newspaper since its inception.
Dhaka Tribune editor Zafar Sobhan said districts are equally as important as Dhaka for a newspaper to help readers provide a better coverage on national issues.
At the conference, the correspondents got a chance to share their views and observations on news, coverage and the newspaper.

In the afternoon, Dhaka Tribune's joint in charge of sports Ali Shahriyar Amin, and senior reporter Ibrahim Hossain Ovi shared their views on proper coverage and plans centring sports and business news coverage.
Later, Dhaka Tribune general managers Farzana Yasmin (HR and Admin) and Ahmed Shoyeb Iqbal (Marketing and Sales), and Head of Advertising Shahin Ahsan shared their views over the current drives, future efforts and outline for growth initiative with the correspondents.
