A three-member probe committee has been formed to investigate the Chawkbazar fire which, till now, has claimed the lives of 70 people.
The probe committee must submit its findings within seven working days.

Meanwhile, according to Dhaka Fire Service control room Duty Officer Kamrul Hasan, the three-member probe committee will be led by Fire Service and Civil Defence Deputy Director Dilip Kumar Ghosh.

According to the Fire Service control room, 37 units from 31 stations are working to douse the blaze.
