A woman was killed in a motorcycle accident in Jatrabari area of Dhaka on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Halima Begum, 28, of Gopalganj’s Muksedpur.
Witnesses said Halima was travelling on the backseat of her brother's motorcycle.
Around 9am, she fell off the motorcycle in Jatrabari and sustained critical injuries when another motorbike hit their two-wheeler.
Halima was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), but died while undergoing treatment around 11:30am, said DMCH police outpost’s Sub-Inspector Bachchu Mia.
