State-owned Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL) will keep landlines and internet facilities shut in Dhaka’s Motijheel area from June 8 to June 11 for maintenance purposes.
According to a press release issued by the BTCL, the company will be “transferring the existing underground lines.”
Currently, major construction work is going on in Motijheel for the metro rail project. BTCL says they will be transferring the cables due to the ongoing construction work.
