A woman, who was injured in a water-tank blast, has died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
Hasinara Khanam, 60, died at the burn unit of the hospital around 8:30am on Thursday, Dr Partha Sankar Pal, residential surgeon at DMCH, told the Dhaka Tribune.
He said: "She suffered from 95% burns. Her husband Mohammad Yakub, 70, is undergoing treatment at the hospital."
Three-year-old Ruhi, another victim of the blast, died on Wednesday.
Five people suffered burn injuries as a fire broke out following an explosion at a water tank in a six-storey building in Pallabi on Tuesday.
The blast occurred when worker Hasan lit a candle inside the water tank while cleaning it.
