The VSO Alumni Association Bangladesh and Youth For Change project of Plan International Bangladesh jointly celebrated International Women's Day on 13th March 2018 at Robindro sorobor, Dhanmondi.
This year, International Women’s Day (IWD) comes on the heels of unprecedented global movement for women’s rights, equality and justice. Which has taken the form of global marches and campaigns. This years theme was “Time is now: Rural and Urban activists transforming women’s lives” and the hashtag for the day was #PressforProgress.

CourtesyFurthermore in line with the International Women's Day’18 celebration a group of young people from VSO Alumni Association Bangladesh, Youth For Change arranged an awareness building event where they encouraged people to bring progress in gender equality agenda and take meaningful action. By shining a spotlight on examples of good practice and celebrating impact, International Women's Day activity grows bigger and better annually.
