The Moghbazar-Karwan Bazar part of the under-construction Moghbazar-Mouchak flyover has been opened to public.
Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Khandker Mosharraf Hossain opened the portion of the flyover Wednesday morning.
Initially, the flyover’s construction cost was estimated at Tk343.70 crore that was approved by the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (Ecnec) in 2011.
However, the project missed several deadlines, causing the cost to skyrocket to Tk1,218.89 crore.
