Militants to surrender before police in Bogra Wednesday

Some alleged militants will surrender before police officially promising to return to normal life in Bogra on Wednesday. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan and RAB DG Benojir Ahmed will visit Bogra to oversee the event that will be held at Shaheed Titu auditorium in the district down. When asked, RAB 12 Bogra camp squad commander senior ASP Fakruzzaman Jewel said: “Higher officials of RAB know how many militants will surrender before police.” Civil society personalities will also attend the programme on anti-militancy campaign to prevent terrorism and create awareness against militant activities, said RAB 12 chief ADG Md Shahabuddin khan. In different events on anti-militancy campaign to prevent terrorism, home minister called upon the militants to return to normal life soon or face the fate of their accomplices during the recent anti-militant operations.
