Police have charged Tahmid Hasib Khan, an arrested in the Gulshan terror attack case, with concealing information on the attackers.
The University of Toronto student who was a hostage during the attack was released on bail on Sunday.
Calling Tahmid an eyewitness of the July attack, on September 28 the investigating officer submitted an application to file a prosecution report under section 176 alleging uncooperativeness with the investigation despite repeated legal notice.

The prosecution report said Tahmid was interrogated immediately after his recovery from Holey Artisan Bakery on July 2 and released.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Counterterrorism unit had then sent him two notices, on July 10 and 21, to report for questioning.
Tahmid was presented in court as a suspect in the Gulshan attack case and taken for eight days of interrogation on August 4.

Advocate Hamidur Rahman, Tahmid's counsel, told the Dhaka Tribune that police had brought the charge claiming that Tahmid not helped them by giving statements.
“The hearing of the prosecution schedule will be held on October 5 and we can comment about it clearly after the hearing,” he said.
