The prosecution submitted the charges before the three-member bench of the International Crimes Tribunal headed by Justice Anwarul Haq.
The ICT bench fixed October 17 to decide whether it would take the charges into cognisance.
The suspects are Rezaul Karim, ABM Yunus Ali, Yusuf Ali, Omar Ali, Belayet Hossain, Nasir Uddin, Kazi Badruzzaman and Ismail. Of them Rezaul Karim, ABM Yunus Ali, Yusuf Ali, Omar Ali were in jail where the others remained absconding.
On December 9, 2015, the International Crimes Tribunal issued warrants for the arrest of the suspects.
