In the ongoing nationwide operation, the police have arrested 1727 crime suspects in the last 24 hours.
According to the Police Headquarters, 1177 of them were captured in previous cases and pending warrants, while 550 others were apprehended on various criminal charges.
One single-barrel gun, one LG, one cartridge and several local sharp weapons were seized during the operation.
