The Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) and the police recovered 16 bombs from near Alam market and Khaja super market under Dakshin Keraniganj thana on Saturday.
Local people found the bombs, wrapped in red tape and abandoned at about 2pm and informed police.
Later, a team of Rab 10 and police officers recovered the bombs and took them to the Dakshin Keraniganj police station. However, no one was arrested in connection with this.
