11 dope gang members held in Dhaka

Detective Branch (DB) of Police has detained 11 suspected members of dope gangs from different areas of Dhaka. The identities of the detainees could not be ascertained yet. Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Deputy Commissioner (media) Masudur Rahman confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune Sunday morning. Details regarding the matter will be disclosed in a press briefing later in the day, he said. Members of this type of gangs dope their targets before robbing them of money and belongings. Such gangs usually become active before Eid.
