A Dhaka court on Monday has set October 15 as the date to submit probe report on a case lodged over recovery of fake notes from a den of Regent Group Chairman Md Shahed Karim.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Millat Hossain passed the order as the concerned investigation officer failed to submit the report on Monday.
Shahed was arrested by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) from Debhata upazila of Satkhira in the early hours of July 15, and was airlifted to the capital in the morning.
RAB on the same day raided his Uttara den and recovered fake notes, among other things, from there.
RAB 1 official Mozibur Rahman filed the case in connection with the matter against Shahed, Regent Group Managing Director Masud Pervej, and others.
