Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Deputy Commissioner (media) Masudur Rahman said they raided a house on Monday night where the suspects lived.
“We recovered a large number of jihadi books, seven improvised bombs, four machetes and seized a computer as well,” he said.
The detainees include Shibir's Khilgaon unit president Md Motaher Hossain and general secretary M A Razzak.
Police also detained the building owner Reazul Karim.
