Fish trader killed

The deceased was Mohidul Islam Bandh, 45, son of late Mokter Hossain Bandh of Deana area under Daulatpur police station in the city. Family sources said he went to the area on Saturday night and did not return home. His family members went to the spot in the morning and found him dead. On information, police recovered the body and sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. Later the body was handed over to his family members after autopsy. His elder brother Shahedul Islam Bandh said, there was a long standing feud between a leader of an outlawed party and a youth Moon, son in law of his younger brother over the ownership of the  shrimp enclosure. Recently Mohidul recovered the shrimp enclosure in favour of his son-in-law from his rival possession. Officer-in-Charge of Daulatpur police station Nasim Khan said Mohidul was killed by his rival over controlling the supremacy of the shrimp enclosure of his son-in-law. Severe mark injuries in his throat, mouth and different parts of the body was found OC added.
