Hijackers stab owner, snatch car in broad daylight in Dhaka

Muggers have stabbed a man in Dhaka's Kolabagan and hijacked his private car in broad daylight. The victim KM Rana, 32, was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital after the daring Thursday morning carjacking. Rana said he was resting in his car after buying medicine from a Kalabagan pharmacy. At that time several youths knocked on the car's window. “They stabbed me as soon as I opened the glass and forced me to hand over the car key. They left with my new car," the victim added. Kalabagan police’s OC Yasin Arafat told the Dhaka tribune that they were investigating the incident.
