One held with gold bars worth Tk2.4 crore

Airport Customs House detained Johirul Islam at the green channel with the gold bars weighing 4.870Kg around 10:53pm on Sunday. Airport Custom House Joint Commissioner Shohel Rahman told Dhaka Tribune: “He arrived at the airport on an Emirates Airlines flight from Dubai last night. “Acting on a tip-off, we searched him and recovered the gold bars.”
