DU Chhatra League leader shot on campus

Abdullah Al Jubayer, vice president of BCL’s university, was shot at Nilkhet-Palashi area while he was returning to Mohsin Hall along with his friends - Johirul Islam and Abu Sayed - on a motorcycle around 1am, reports Bangla Tribune. Johirul said: “A white private car blocked our way while we were returning to the hall. An armed assailant came out of the car and shot Jubayer in his leg." Later, Jubayer was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. However, he could not confirm if it was a case of hijacking. Police ADC of Ramna Zone Azim Ul Hoque said: “We are trying to trace the car.”
