Former chief of Jatiya Chhatra Shomaj, student wing of Jatiya Party, has been murdered in the capital.
The body of Mizanur Rahman Himu, 36, were recovered from an empty plot of Eastern Housing in Rupnagar Beribadh area around 9am Sunday.
The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue around 4pm, DMCH police outpost In-Charge Mozammel Haque told the Dhaka Tribune.
Police are assuming that miscreants killed him somewhere else and dumped his body in Beribadh area.
Mizanur Rahman's brother Syed Habibur Rahman told the Dhaka Tribune: "We are suspecting that the father of Mizanur's second wife might have been involved in the murder."
