Eight poachers held in Satkhira

The arrestees are – Mosharaf Biswas, son of Moslem Biswas, Razzque Gazi, son of Makbul Gazi, Jalil Sana and Akbar Sana, sons of Babar Ali Sana, from Koira, Selim Sana, son of Rafiqul Sana, Liton Sana and Sayed Sana, sons of Mujibur Sana. All of them are hailing from Koira upazila, Khulna where rest one is Amir Ali Molla from Paikgacha upazila, Khulna. Shama Prasad Roy, officer of Kadomtola forest station, said: “Acting in a secret information that a group of poachers were taking preparation to hunt deers, a team of forest official and smart patrol team conducted a drive in Maloncho River and arrested the eight poachers.” Later, they were sent to jail through court. A case was fined in this connection, the officer added.
