A Dhaka court on Monday sent three snatchers to jail after one-day remand in connection with a case filed over a snatching incident at a Puja mandap in the Tantibazar area on Friday night.
The accused are Askash, 23, Ridoy, 23, and Jibon, 19.
Sub-Inspector of Kotwali police station Md Rushd Hasan produced them before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court after completion of their one-day remand.
After a hearing, Metropolitan Magistrate Arafatul Rakib passed the order to send them to jail until the investigation into the case ends.
Earlier, Magistrate Mosharraf Hossain placed them on one-day remand each on Sunday.
The accused were allegedly involved in snatching ornaments of a female near a puja mandap in the Tantibazar area here on Friday night.
