Dhaka district judge, metropolitan sessions judge, Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court, and Chief Judicial Magistrate Court have decided that whenever a bail application is made in a political case, a hearing will be held immediately.
This decision was made in the meeting room of the district judge's court on Tuesday, following consultations with lawyers.
Pro-BNP lawyer leaders were present at the meeting. However, no pro-Awami League lawyer attended.
Pro-BNP lawyer Masud Ahmed Talukder confirmed the information.
