A Natore court has sentenced a man with life term imprisonment and fined TK50,000 for raping a woman.
District and Sessions Judge Rezaul Karim delivered the verdict Tuesday noon.
The convict was identified as Chandan Kumar, son of Shamvu Rabi Das, of Biharkol village under Bagatipara upazila in the district.
The rape case was filed in 2010 with the 'Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal.
