Rajuk official get three-year jail in graft case

A Dhaka court on Wednesday sentenced a suspended official of Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) to three-year imprisonment in a graft case filed by Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

Judge Md Shahidul Islam of Dhaka Special Judge Court-7 passed the order, sentencing Jajaul Haque Munshi Junnu, 47, to three-year imprisonment, reports BSS.

ACC filed the case against the official working with design wing of Rajuk for amassing Tk14,70,514 illegally. The court also ordered to confiscate the money under state exchequer.
