The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has pleaded to show Golam Kibria Shamim alias GK Shamim and former Jubo League leader Khaled Mahmud Bhuiyan arrested in graft cases.
Acting Judge Al Mamun of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court set October 27 to hold hearing matters in presence of the accused on Tuesday, reports BSS.
On October 21, the anti-graft body filed the cases against them for amassing illegal wealth.
ACC Deputy Director M Salauddin filed a case against GK Shamim and his mother -Ayesha Akhter for amassing nearly Tk297.09 crore illegally.
The other case was filed against Khaled Bhuiyan by ACC Deputy Director Jahangir Alam for accumulating illegally Tk55,815,859.
