A court has placed three accused of setting fire to a Sonagazi madrasa student in Feni, on remand.
The court of Feni Judicial Magistrate Sharafatuddin placed Sonagazi Madrasa Principal Sirajuddaula on a seven-day remand; while Absar Hossain, an English Department teacher, and Arifur Rahman, the victim's classmate, were placed on a five-day remand, each.
They order came around 12:30pm Wednesday, Court Inspector Md Jilani told Dhaka Tribune.
Till now, six have been arrested in connection with the attack, after the victim's brother Mahmudul Hasan filed a case with Sonagazi police station on Monday.

The victim is currently undergoing treatment at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), under the supervision of an eight-member medical board. She suffered 85% burns from the attack, and was placed on life support on Monday.
Until this report was filed, the girl's condition had improved slightly, chief of the medical board Dr Abul Kalam said.
The victim's brother said his sister gave him a brief description of the attack while she was being taken to the hospital in Dhaka on Sunday. According to her statement, she was taken to the madrasa's rooftop, where four burqa-clad people tied her and set her on fire after pouring kerosene over her body.
The girl's family said she was attacked by supporters of the madrasa's principal, after they had previously lodged a sexual harassment case against him on March 27, accusing him of attempting to rape the girl in his office.
Consequently, in response to the complaint, police arrested Sirajuddaula, and has been in the district jail ever since. He has also been suspended from the madrasa.
