A parliamentary standing committee on Wednesday formed a sub-committee to investigate the reported corruption in establishing Bangabandhu Corner at all government primary schools.
The parliamentary standing committee on Primary and Mass Education has formed a three-member sub-committee which has been asked to submit a report within 15 working days.
Primary and Mass Education Senior Secretary Akram Al Hossain confirmed the matter.
The committee was formed after different media reported that books for Bangabandhu Corner were purchased at high prices.
