Brac University has alerted police after receiving an email threatening multiple bomb attacks on its campus.
The university filed a general diary with Badda police after receiving the email on Sunday evening, reports bdnews24.com.
Badda Police Station Chief Kazi Md Nasirul Amin said the message threatened an attack at 11am on Tuesday and mentioned “mass bombing”.
The email also warned: “Know that none of you will be able to stop what is about to happen.”
“We have been working on the matter since receiving the complaint,” he said.
University Public Relations Official Fatius Fahmid said the authorities immediately informed law enforcement after receiving the email.
