Three people have been injured in a road accident near Bangladesh Navy Headquarter in the capital’s Banani.
The identity of the injured could not be ascertained.
Quoting the locals, Banani police SI Mostofa Kamal said the accident occurred when two private cars were trying to overtake each other around 11am on Thursday.
"At one stage, the driver of a car lost his control over the steering and turned upside down after hitting the road divider, leaving three passengers of the car injured.”
On information, police went to spot and trying to move the car from the area, he added.
The injured passengers were sent to local hospital.
