The police have recovered the hanging bodies of a man and his wife from a house in Bamoil Purbapara area under Demra police station in the capital on Tuesday.
The deceased are Aslam, 32, and Pia, 20.
Demra police station SI Rafiqul Islam said: “Locals peeped inside the bedroom of the couple through a narrow hole of the windows as they were not getting any response from inside after calling the couple several times.”
“They noticed the hanging body of the man and his wife and informed the police. Being informed, the police recovered the bodies at 3pm.”
The SI said primarily the police was suspected that they might have committed suicide over family feud.
