The national pay commission has submitted its report to the finance minister outlining Tk80,000 as the highest basic and lowest Tk8,200 for the civil servants.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith said the new pay scale will be implemented from July, 2015.
Mohammed Farashuddin, chairman of the 17-member commission, submitted the report on Sunday morning.
Presently, highest basic salary of a civil servant is Tk40,000 and lowest is Tk4,100.

Mohammad Farasuddin said the commission has proposed maximum amount of salary increase for attracting the efficient and educated people to join public services.
He also said impact of the raise of salaries would be a little compared to annual enhancement of budget and revenue earning of the country.
The salaries of the cabinet secretary and the principal secretary to the prime minister, who enjoys a special grade, were proposed Tk100,000.
The commission also recommended Tk88,000 salary for senior secretaries.
The pay body proposed the formation of a new bank named "Sommriddhir Shopan" with Tk400 crore capital. It suggested selling the 20 katha government land at Dainik Bangla and investing the money to the bank.
The commission also recommended to cancel recruitment on deputation.
In November last year, the government formed the commission to recommend pay revision for more than 1.3 million current and former public servants.
