Police have sent three people to jail after arresting them in a case filed over an accident that killed three female students of Rajshahi Government College.
The arrestees are Lucky bus's helpers Ezabul Haque, driver Abdul Baten and Islam Paribahan's helper Imran Hossain.
Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Iftekhayer Alam said they were arrested from the bus terminal area early Thursday.
The students were killed and 30 others injured in a collision between two buses at Katakhali on Dhaka-Rajshahi on Sunday.
Police arrested the driver of 'Lucky bus' Abdur Razzak and sent him to jail on Tuesday.
The four-day mourning programme and the suspension of academic activities will ended on Thursday, said Professor Habibur Rahman, principal of the college.
A case was filed against the drivers with Motihar Police Station on the day of the accident while the college authority formed a probe body to investigate the matter.
