Bombs, gunfire kill 81 at mosque in Nigeria
Gunmen set off three bombs and opened fire on worshippers at the main mosque in north Nigeria's biggest city Kano on Friday, killing at least 81 people, witnesses and officials said, in an attack that bore the hallmarks of Islamist Boko Haram militants.
Blasts from the coordinated assault rang out as scores of people packed into the ancient building's courtyard for afternoon prayers. "These people have bombed the mosque. I am face to face with people screaming," said local reporter Chijjani Usman.
Egypt's court to rule in murder retrial of ex-leader Mubarak
An Egyptian court is expected to deliver its verdict in the retrial of ousted President Hosni Mubarak on charges of conspiring in the killing of protesters during the 2011 uprising.

Twenty people have been injured in a clash between two factions of BNP at Noyagaon village under Sarail upazila in Brahmanbaria.
Locals said two factions of BNP locked into the clash over the selection of Noyagaon union BNP President Aiyub Ali as the chief guest of a mourning programme on Friday evening, leaving 20 people injured on both sides.
Santu Larma warns off non-cooperation movement
Parbatya Chattagram Jana Sanghati Samiti (PCJSS faction) has threatened to wage a non-cooperation movement from May 1, 2015, if the government fails to “take concrete steps to ensure the full implementation of the CHT Peace Accord 1997 within April 30, 2015.”
Santu Larma, the leader of the PCJSS, came up with the forewarning while addressing a press conference at a capital hotel on Saturday.

Australia-India test postponed after death of Hughes
The first test between Australia and India, scheduled to start in Brisbane on Thursday, has been postponed until an unspecified date after the death of batsman Phillip Hughes, Cricket Australia said on Saturday.
The funeral of Hughes, who died at the age of 25 on Thursday after being struck on the head by a ball while playing a domestic match at the Sydney Cricket Ground two days earlier, will take place in his hometown of Macksville on Wednesday.
