Detective Branch of police, in a drive, have detained four people with bombs and bomb making materials from different areas of the capital.
The detainees are Kalam Hawladar, Golam Sarwar Hawladar, Kholilur Rahman and Noyon.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Saidur Rahman said: “DB police conducted a drive and detained them with bombs and bomb making materials from the capital's Rampura, Khilgaon and Gulisthan areas on Tuesday night.”
The ADC said: “They were involved with a robbery at Moghbazar where Tk31 lakh was looted on August 19.”
“Some locally made weapons were also recovered from their possession,” he said.
