Police in a raid recovered a large number of explosives and machineries for making crude bombs at a tin-shed house in Newpaltan area of capital’s Azimpur Sunday afternoon.
Lalbagh police station Officer-in-charge Nurul Mustakim said: “On secret information, police raided the house around 12:30pm and recovered huge number of crude bombs.”
The raid at the house was going on till filing the report at 1:25pm.
“The amount of the recovery will be disclosed after completion of the raid,” said the OC.
