Ace singer of the country Kumar Biswajit will perform Friday at the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre in Gulshan and the singer informs that the programme will be different from his earlier solo shows.
What surprises are waiting for the fans for Friday's show?
Well, I shall present a composition of music and vocal sound at the beginning of the programme. Moreover, I’ll present a Tagore song and a couple of Kishore Kumar’s songs and obviously, I will sing an array of my own songs.
What is your message on the World Music Day?
First of all, I greet all the music lovers in the world on the occasion. Also I urge everyone to realise the power of music more intensively. Music is not only an entertaining medium, it is also a tool to bring about change, revolution. In this note, I want to give reference of our Liberation War where music played a powerful role. Moreover, music is also used as therapy to cure different kind of illness.
What is the update of your next solo album?
Yes, I’m working on it. But I won’t be able to make it by Eid, which I announced earlier. Hopefully, the listeners will get it by the end of this year.
