The International Crimes Tribunal has issued arrest warrants against three alleged razakars of Moulvibazar in the cases filed for committing crimes against humanity during the 1971 Liberation War.
The two-member tribunal issued the warrant of arrest on Tuesday afternoon, prosecutor Sabina Yeasmin Munni told the Dhaka Tribune.
The prosecutor said the names of the accused were not disclosed for the sake of investigation.
She said the three razakars fled to India as they resided near bordering areas.
The prosecutors told the tribunal that the accused should should be arrested for the development of the investigation.
They also informed the tribunal that the victims in the cases were getting threats from the alleged razakars.
