The office of chief prosecutor of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has withdrawn prosecutor Mohammad Ali “in the public interest” from all cases involving the tribunal.
A letter signed by Chief Prosecutor Ghulam Arieff Tipoo was issued regarding the withdrawal on February 4, prosecutor Ziad Al-Malum told the Dhaka Tribune.
According to the letter, Ali has been asked to stay away from case proceedings until further notice.
