The International Crimes Tribunal will deliver verdict in a war crimes case filed against notorious razakar leaders Obaidul Haq Taher and Ataur Rahman Noni of Netrokona on Tuesday.
Tribunal 1 headed by Justice Anwarul Haque fixed the date on Monday morning.
The tribunal indicted the duo on March 2 last year, framing six specific charges against them.
On December 4, 2014, the prosecution had submitted a formal charge against the two alleged Razakar kingpins from Netrokona.
According to the prosecution, Noni and Taher as Razakar leaders carried out heinous crimes in 1971 in Netrokona sadar and Barhatta areas. They are accused of being involved in the killings of 15 innocent civilians and setting fire to 400 to 450 houses.
They occupied the house of Moloy Bihari Biswas in Mokterpara area of Netrokona town and established a Razakar camp there. They carried out crimes like genocide, murder, arson, looting and torture from that camp.
