The Supreme Court has stayed the High Court order that directed the authorities concerned to accept Bangladesh Bank official Golam Rabbi's complaint against SI Masud Sikdar as FIR.
Chamber judge of the Appellate Division Justice Hasan Foyez Siddique stayed the HC order until January 25.
He also sent it to the full bench for hearing on that day, Ehsanur Rahman, lawyer of the writ petitioners told the Dhaka Tribune.

On January 18, the High Court bench of Justice Syed Muhammad Dastagir Hossain and Justice AKM Shahidul Haque ordered to accept Rabbi's complaint against SI Masud Sikdar as FIR.
The court passed the order following a writ petition filed by lawyers AKM Ehsanur Rahman, SM Zulfiqar Ali and broadcaster of Radio Dhoni Zahid Hasan.
Sub-Inspector Masud Sikder of Mohammadpur police station confined Rabbi to a police vehicle and pressured him to give Tk5 lakh in bribe on the night of January 9.
Masud also threatened to kill Rabbi in a shootout and implicate him in a drugs case if he failed to give the money.
The following day, Rabbi submitted a written complaint to the deputy commissioner of Tejgaon division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
