Tianjin Art Troupe, a visiting cultural troupe from China, has enthralled audiences through their spectacular performances at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on Sunday.
Marking the Chinese New Year and Bangla Basanta Utsob, Bangladesh-China Friendship Centre and Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy have jointly arranged the cultural programme in which a local troupe joins the visiting one.
Commencing with a stunning martial art demonstration depicting women’s significance in the Chinese opera, the show has won audience’s hearts. The show was followed by performances of eastern instrumental, dance and Bangla folk-songs.
Tianjin Art Troupe, reached Dhaka on January 15 prior to their performance on Sunday and will leave the country tomorrow for a tour in Thailand.
